Implant Dentistry


Dental Implants is one of the most commonly mentioned terms in the dental practices, it involves the implant of a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull.

The implant is performed so as to support dental prosthesis such as:




 Facial prosthesis  or to act as an orthodontic anchor

Types of DENTAL Implants

Endosteal (in the bone): These implants constitute of screws, cylinders or blades surgically placed into the jawbone. These kind of implants are more often used for patients with bridges or removable dentures.

Subperiosteal (on the bone): These implants are placed along with metal frameworks on top of the jaw, these metal framework’s posts protrude through the gum to hold the prosthesis.
